Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
1. Introduction
BrickCraft ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the BrickCraft web application (the "Service"). This policy is published in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register for an account, including: your first name, last name, and email address. We also automatically collect technical data such as your login timestamps (last login date) and the facade designs you create and save within the Service. We do not collect sensitive information within the meaning of the APPs.
3. How We Collect Information
We collect information directly from you when you complete registration forms, sign in, or interact with the Service. Account credentials and authentication are managed securely by our platform provider on our behalf.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to: create and manage your account; authenticate your access to the Service; display your name within the application; save and retrieve your facade designs; send you service-related notifications and password reset emails; and administer the platform, including role-based access control where applicable. We do not use your personal information for direct marketing without your consent.
5. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose your information to our hosting and authentication infrastructure providers who assist in operating the Service, and where required by law or to protect our rights. Administrators within your organisation may view limited account information (name, email, role, and status) for the purpose of user management.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Passwords are never stored in our application data — authentication and password handling are performed exclusively through our platform provider's secure authentication services. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
7. Access and Correction
Under the APPs, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request correction of inaccurate or outdated information. You can update your first name and last name from your Profile page at any time. To request access to or correction of other information, or to request deletion of your account, please contact us.
8. Retention of Information
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with our legal obligations. When you close your account, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify your personal information, except where retention is required by law.
9. Cookies and Tracking
The Service uses a session token stored in your browser to maintain your authenticated session. This token allows you to remain logged in across page reloads ("Remember me" functionality) and is removed when you log out.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Your Consent
By registering for and using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and, where appropriate, notifying you through the Service.
13. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to exercise your privacy rights, please contact Base44 support through the platform's support channels.
